I started  the Bullebak Project because I wanted to build the Lister 12/2 in a boat. I loved the sound and to see the flywheels spin around.

As you can see in the Bullebak page it was a bit heavy and had significant excess power. I decided to replace her by a smaller Lister of the same model: the 8/1, which basically a 6/1 with a stronger fuel pump.

I found this beauty, almost 50 years old and brand new. It was still on stock somewhere. (I suppose very much depreciated).

about 50 years old and never used. It is a miracle!

It is the Lister 8/1, meaning 1 cylinder, 8 HP at 800 RPM.

I never use more that 400 rpm's, so the sound is beautiful.

So I took the 12/2 out,

and put the 8/1 back in!

And right away at WORK!
